Via an easy-to-use piece of software called TreeTop, attendees will participate in a live demonstration of uncertainty analysis methods applied to a project management case study. The analysis will begin by developing tornado diagrams to highlight what project uncertainties drive the most value, and alternatively, what uncertainties carry the largest risk exposure. Attendees will then learn how tornado diagram insights directly translate to decision trees and how this technique provides a better understanding of project scenarios to identify optimal decision paths.

The final topic will be centered on generating cumulative probability curves which are extremely useful to highlight the combination of decisions and uncertainties where project value hinges.
