Course Overview

When Decisions Change: Decision Sensitivity Plots

Sometimes, decisions can change based on how underlying uncertainties play out in the evaluation. While Tornado Diagrams visualize discrete, 3-point sensitization to a particular uncertainty, Decision Sensitivity Plots can show how decisions and project value changes with respect to one or more uncertainties across an entire interval. Sensitivity plots are useful when looking at the entire range of uncertainty, exploring ranges outside of an 80% confidence interval, and can include chance outcomes and probabilities. The plots make it clear to see where decisions are changing and what underlying uncertainties alter the decision path.

During this webinar, we answer the following questions:

  • Where is the inflection point across the range of uncertainty where our decision would change?

  • Under what conditions would we choose different paths for our projects?

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing your webinar credentials.
